NHS Charities Together – The Nightingales’ Song

BACKGROUND

ON were asked to raise awareness for the new enchanting picture e-book, The Nightingales’ Song. Big sports names from Football, Cricket and Rugby including Jordan Henderson, Danny Welbeck, Joe Root, Mark Wood and Jack Wiltshire lent their likeness to the children’s book with all proceeds from sales of the e-Book going to the NHS Charities Together Covid-19 Appeal.

 

OUR THINKING

We knew it was important to have as many of the books contributors available for interviews including the author, illustrator, clinical lead at the Nightingale Hospital as well as the major sports stars taking part. Images from the e-book were made available to help bring the story to life.

 

RESULTS

Unsurprisingly, interviews came flooding in from most major national broadcasters. Working to the limited availability we had with each guest, the team reached an audience of nearly 30 million. Highlights included spots on Sky Sports, ITV, BBC Radio 1, Sky News Radio, talkSPORT, LBC News, LBC 97.3 and BBC Radio 5 Live
